Coach Toolkit
Calorie Calculator
Estimate how many calories your body burns each day, and a sensible target for losing weight. It takes about a minute.
Nothing you enter is sent anywhere. This device may remember your last entries so you don't have to retype them.
For coaches: using this with a client
Taught in Lessons 13.1–13.2
- Run it together on an early call and write the BMR, TDEE and target into the client's notes.
- Use the target as a starting point. After 2 to 3 weeks, compare real weight change with the estimate and adjust.
- If the safety floor kicks in, don't go lower. Anything below it needs the client's doctor supervising.
- Recalculate every 10 lb lost, then carry the new target into the Protein & Macro Calculator.

Your daily weight-loss target
A steady pace is per week. That's 0.5 to 1% of your body weight.
Keep in mind
- It's an estimate; expect it to be off by about 10% either way. Real results over 2 to 3 weeks tell you the true number.
- Recalculate every 10 lb lost. Your burn drops as your body gets smaller.
- Ready to split your target into protein, fat and carbs? Try the Protein & Macro Calculator. It picks up your target on this device.
